Hakeem Jeffries Called Colorado Gun Owners “Diabolical” Does Yadira Caraveo Agree? Scott James Wants to Know…

JOHNSTOWN, Colo. – Ahead of taxpayer-funded town hall with Democrat Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo in Brighton, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries referred to conservatives and supporters of the Second Amendment as “diabolical” for wanting to preserve and protect their God given rights.

In a report published Monday, Jeffries, who attended a gun violence roundtable in Boulder said, “we got diabolical intensity on the other side. I say to folks back in Washington, we have to be prepared to match and exceed that diabolical intensity with righteous intensity.”

Who exactly is Jeffries calling diabolical? All conservatives, or only the nearly 40 PERCENT of Colorado households who own a gun?

More importantly…

Does Yadira Caraveo agree with Hakeem Jeffries that conservatives and Colorado gun owners are diabolical?

Scott James, the Republican candidate running for Colorado’s 8th Congressional District released the following statement ahead of Caraveo and Jeffries’ Brighton town Hall:

“While Democrats think sending a big New York City liberal like Hakeem Jeffries out to small town Colorado will save Yadira Caraveo’s political career, his comments yesterday have done the opposite. Crime is up because far-left politicians are taking the side of criminals over victims and innocent people. Hakeem Jeffries backs sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants. Yadira Caraveo is the one who introduced a bill softening penalties for fentanyl possession in Colorado. They are two peas in a far-left pod.”
